Fashion designer Teemu Muurimäki has made a deal with an Italian fashion house Dolce&Gabbana. The designer says that his new job will include designing for the company’s women’s collection, but he is still very silent about the deal. The practice at the international fashion houses is that a new designer is not allowed to give interviews before starting the job.
“I have made a verbal agreement with Dolce&Gabbana yesterday”, he admits. “My job will begin in Milan in ten days, which means that I will move from Paris to Milan.”
Teemu Muurimäki, 32, is known for his evening and wedding gowns, which he has recently been designing for Cymbeline, the French wedding gown company. Cymbeline is the second largest wedding gown company in Europe. He has also designed unique evening gowns for Villisilkki (Wild Silk), a Helsinki-based shop specialized in high-quality clothing fabrics.
